The bloggers of Thread Cincinnati have teamed up with the Parative Project to help raise awareness for their cause and ask for your help to end human trafficking! The Parative Project was founded by Cincinnati native, Drew Oxley, and the goal is to create “merchandise and apparel that aims to spark conversations around human trafficking and spread messages of hope and inspiration”.
They recently launched a Kickstarter (that ends soon, so get involved now) which will allow them to bring the production of their merchandise to India, in partnership with The Aruna Project and Freeset. This will provide sustainable employment to women who have been empowered out of the human trafficking system. By working with Parative, these women will be given a second chance at life and a purpose to work towards.
